No longer a freshman Marvel director, Jon Watts is in talks to direct the untitled Spider-Man: Homecomingsequel. Watts directed the hit film, which earned $117 million in its first weekend and starred Tom Holland as a 15-year-old Spider-Man.

Homecomingalso marked the debut of Zendaya as Peter Parker's classmate Michelle. We know Zendaya will have a sizable role in the sequel compared to Homecoming, and can probably expect more guest appearances from Iron-Man and the other Avengers.
The Spider-Man: Homecomingsequel will arrive in 2019.
